Datu Island, located at Pahang River, Pekan, Pahang. It takes about 3 hours driving from KL using LPT then exit Sri Jaya. After Sri Jaya toll, turn left and go straight until reached a right junction. There are a signboards show a direction to Lake Chini (Boat Jetty), just follow that directions and you will be reached easily.
Visitors also can visit Lake Chini from Datu Island because using a same route but must rent a speed boat from local people to get into the lake.
There are a few species can be found around Datu Island. A famous and a most catchable by local people are pari, kerai, baung, toman etc.
The experiences of local people fishing activity will be
shared to everybody once our facility is ready. We already spot a best location
for fishing based on species and sizing.

Introductions
Alhamdulillah...
First of all, thank to Allah by giving me chance to creating this blog for viewers. I would like to introduce myself and my relation with Datu Island as well.
My name is Zulkipli Abdul Rahim, a local born of Kampong Sri Makmur and was stayed at Shah Alam for past 20 years. I was graduated in Bachelor in Business Administration from University of Wales, Newport. Married with five kids.
Datu Island is an island with a few owners belongs to our late grandparents then followed by me as part of the owner. Most of us are related family and was moved to nearer village called Kampong Sri Makmur for a better life.
I have planned to develop this island with agriculture industry and a recreation area a part of it. Hopefully my planning will be successful and will update soon.
Thank you.
